NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHY CENTRAL COAST TERRIGAL
One of the most special moments in life is the birth of your baby. From those little toes and fingers, to their perfect little face you’ve been waiting to see, your little baby brings a new joy to your life you never imagined.
The first few weeks go by in a blur and your baby is changing so quickly you hardly notice.
Newborn photography will capture these moments you want to remember forever, it’s a way of preserving your memories for a lifetime.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR MY BABY’S NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
The best time for your baby’s newborn photo session is when your baby is under 14 days old. Your baby is sleepier and still retains that beauiful newborn curl. Your baby also tolerates pose changes and moving from pose to prop easier. If you are wanting sleepy baby images, it is best to have your baby photographed within those first few days.
HOW LONG DO NEWBORN PHOTO SESSIONS LAST?
Your newborn’s photo session will last 2-4 hours. At your newborn’s session there will be feeding breaks and re-settling breaks, some babies need more time to get into a deep sleep. At your baby’s photo session, we will take parent images, family images and sibling images also.
WHERE DO NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Your newborn’s photo session takes place in my baby photo studio at Wamberal on the Central Coast, an hr north of Sydney. The studio space is warm and inviting and has all the knits, blankets and props available to use in your photography session. If you have a heirloom item you would like to incorporate into your photography session, please discuss with me prior to your session.
WHAT TYPE OF IMAGES DO YOU TAKE IN THE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
During your newborn’s session, I will take a variety of posed and natural images. I will also photograph your baby in your choice of prop, a variety of newborn poses on the beanbag, parent photo’s, sibling photo’s and family photo’s. Colours will be your choice and what will suit the decor of your home.
WHAT IF MY BABY ARRIVES EARLY/LATE?
A small percentage of newborns arrive on their due date! Because I only book a limited number of sessions per month, this allows the rescheduling of newborn sessions when or if your baby arrives early or late. Your session fee guarantees a spot in my calender and holds a tentative date for your baby’s session

To book your session,  the session fee is due to hold your spot on my schedule. Once you’ve paid the session fee we will begin planning your photography session. I will help guide you through the whole process from what to wear, how to prepare for your chosen session and will guide you with the best posing to achieve professional images.
